Privacy policy
How we collect, use and protect personal data, and your rights under the GDPR and India's DPDP Act.

This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through cleanwear.in and when you contact us. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, for people in the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland and the United Kingdom, the GDPR and UK GDPR.

What we collect
- Enquiry details you give us in forms, by email or on WhatsApp: name, company, email, phone, country, job title, products of interest, quantities, messages and any file you attach.
- Technical data: pages visited, the referring page, campaign parameters in the link (such as utm_source), approximate country from your IP address and browser type.
- Cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising, only if you accept them. See the cookie policy.
You do not have to give us personal data, but without contact details we cannot reply to an enquiry.

We do not sell personal data and we do not make decisions about you by automated means alone.
Who we share it with
Service providers that run the website and our systems for us: website hosting (Vercel), database and file storage (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), WhatsApp (Meta), and, only with your consent, analytics and advertising platforms such as Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft. For orders we share what is needed with couriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and banks.
International transfers
We are based in India, and some of our providers process data in other countries, including the United States. When personal data from the EEA, Switzerland or the UK is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (and the UK addendum) offered by our providers, or on a transfer that is necessary to answer your enquiry or perform a contract you asked for. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted within 3 years of our last contact. Customer and order records are kept for up to 8 years to meet tax and legal record keeping. Cookie choices are kept for 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your data, restrict or object to our use of it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier use. Under the DPDP Act you can also nominate another person to exercise your rights. Write to info@cleanwear.in. We reply within one month.
Complaints
Contact our grievance officer first: Grievance Officer, info@cleanwear.in. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India or, in the EEA, Switzerland or UK, to the data protection authority where you live or work.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to authorised team members.
Changes
We post any change to this policy on this page with a new date.
