Choosing cleanroom booties
Booties cover footwear and the lower leg so that shoes, which carry the most contamination into a cleanroom, never touch the floor.
- Height. Knee-length booties overlap the coverall leg and are the standard for Grade AThe EU GMP zone for high risk aseptic operations such as filling and making sterile connections. Equivalent to ISO 5 for particles at rest and in operation./B areas.
- Fastening. Ties, elastic, snaps and buckles all work. Choose what your operators can fasten quickly with gloved hands.
- Sole. Anti-skid soles reduce slips on wet, disinfected floors.
- Attachment. Snaps or loops that connect booties to the coverall stop the leg riding up.

Yes. Our reusable booties are made to be laundered and steam sterilised with the rest of the gowning set.
